I am busily preparing for the next Market Days in Wimberley, Texas.  You can come see me there on November 3rd.   Here are some of the flowers I made today....

Maybe some day I'll share how and what I made them with but today I must continue sewing, painting and creating...
Have a fabulous day... See you later

Shabby Stockings

Hold your hats!! I am blogging twice in one week!!!  I just wanted to share these Christmas stockings that I've been making.

I've made them out of a canvas (dropcloth) material.  the first one I've embellished with some eyelet lace, a shabby flower and a touch of bling.  This second one.  I made some rosettes out of the same fabric I used for the stocking and added some little pearl beads to make a lovely center.
I'm listing these on my Etsy store.   SweetAdelaideDesigns...  My son is really hoping they sell as he doesn't want me to make him use them for Christmas ;)
Have a fabulous day....
Blessings

Lovely Clips

Ok so I am trying to get on this computer and share more with everyone what is going on in the crazy crafty world I live in...
Today I'm going to share a cute pic of some sweet clothespins I altered up all pretty.  I simply added some book paper from an old book ...the old book part is a must ;) and then added a tiny little paper flower.  Voila...  Lovely little clip to hold anything you like.
Stay tuned for more sharing and my Etsy store!!!

Studio

I have taken over the dining room for my creation station.  I had my husband help me build some cabinets and shelves so that I'd have somewhere to store my supplies.
All the other furniture pieces have been found at garage sales and flea markets and been redone to fit the room.  The two chairs at the table were a lovely orange so I stripped off the "vintage" fabric and recovered them with a soft aqua fabric and painted the chairs with my own white chalk paint.
I like to find used pieces of whatever and see what I can do with them to recreate.
